About Nicola’s Italian Kitchen
Nicola's Italian Kitchen is an authentic Italian restaurant and real-life American Dream. Nicola and Tina De Fazio were both born in Italy and immigrated to the USA in the 1960s. Both from traditional Italian homes, they met, fell in love, married, and decided to share their traditions of hospitality and family gatherings with their friends. Of course, when their family gets together there are many dishes made with rich sauces, fresh ingredients, and an atmosphere of warmth and welcomeness. The original Kitchen was founded in New Britain, CT in 1965 and eventually was reborn as Nicola's Italian Kitchen in Englewood FL in 1990. The traditions haven't changed; the food is made from scratch just the way it was at the family gatherings so many years ago.
